Apologies for the late update! We have had some long days with formwork and pouring concrete. The project is definitely coming along well! It’s wonderful to see the community so involved as we progress.
Update Number Two! We have begun the construction process by diverting the stream, building concrete formwork, leveling ground, and digging a big hole! Up next is actually placing our forms and pouring concrete!
We have arrived in Panama and begun working! Here is a short video of our first couple days in country. Throughout the rest of our time here, updates of our trip will continue to be posted! Enjoy!

Several members of EWB gathered together before traveling to Panama in order to be sure that the water pump design would work. The water pump was placed inside a trough of water and was wired up as it was designed to be in Panama. The result… the system worked as expected.
